Driving the turbine is a large-displacement 58.2cc air-cooled two-stroke engine, which has been optimised in terms performance, dependability and longevity.

A substantial 1.8-litre fuel tank will keep you going for long periods between stops for replenishing; a premium pleated-paper air filter ensures key parts are exposed to very little wear and tear (the filter is accessed without tools).

The Echo PB-580 packs-in the comfort features, including a ventilated back-pad to keep the user cool, four anti-vibration springs for fatigue-reduction, and padded straps, which ensure it sits nicely on the shoulders.

It has Posi-Loc™ tube-connection, so you can be sure the blower pipe is securely fixed in position at all times; and it benefits from an ‘L’-shape frame, which ensures it won’t tip over when placed on the ground.
