Driving it is a beefy 35.8cc two-stroke low-emission engine that produces an impressive 1.4hp, and which incorporates Echo’s highly regarded Easy Start system, whereby almost no effort is required to achieve ignition – particularly handy when tackling in-tree applications.
A digital C.D.I ensures rapid acceleration and a smooth, low-vibration idle; Echo’s G-Force air pre-cleaner works to minimise filter maintenance requirements, and to extend engine life (the air filter is easy to access; no tools needed).
The Echo CS-362TES Petrol Chainsaw boasts a wrap-around, 18°-tapered handle, which encourages industry best-practice by requiring the operator to use two hands, while also serving to maximise manoeuvrability and to reduce fatigue.
A side chain-tensioner means making performance enhancing adjustments is super-simple; a clutch-related chain lubrication system means less mess and waste as the oil flow is cut when the revs hit minimum.
Also featured on the Echo CS-362TES is a lanyard-type rope-attachment point; and an adjustable palm rest, which can be made comfortable for any operator.
