It is ideal for garden pond or pool emptying, flood control, construction site work ditch draining, sewage and septic tank work. With a maximum lift of 30m* and a generous 45,000 litres per hour delivery volume, the Loncin LC80WB30-4.5Q 3" Dirty-Water Pump is lightweight enough to move around but sturdy and durable enough to keep working time after time.
Constructed from a strong aluminium alloy with its useful low weight and corrosion resistant properties, the body of the pump and its fuel tank is protected and stabilised by a sturdy powder-coated, steel frame.
The engine is a commercial grade, high quality Loncin G200F, 196cc, 5.5hp version with OHV (overhead valve) for smooth, reliable power, good fuel economy and lower emissions, part of Loncin's ongoing vision to reduce carbon emissions across the board without compromising on power.
All centrifugal pumps use centrifugal force to create a pressure differential in water, thus delivering the pumping action, but excess air can prevent the pump's efficiency. This pump is both centrifugal and self-priming, meaning that it can use the air-water mixture to achieve fully primed pumping action. In a self-priming pump, air does not reduce efficiency in the same way.
The centrifugal force in this model is created by a double-impeller, driving the fluid to its exit chamber, and the double-impeller is also made of aluminium for rust resistance.
All mechanical sealing is ceramic, high quality and resistant to corrosion, and the engine is protected from damage by a special low oil safety device.
