The Mountfield Freedom e-Ride 30e battery collecting garden tractor was one of the first electric ride-on mower to successfully offer an viable and reliable electric rider. Built on Mounfield's existing MP 84 chassis from it's popular ride -on models and combines state of the art lithium-ion battery technology for a powerful and durable drive.
The Freedom 30e offers quiet fuel-free convenience of a battery riding lawn mower, combined with the power of a petrol lawn tractor. It's driven by a commanding 48V 30Ah premium brand (Li-Ion) battery cells– with a run time of up to 45 minutes to cover grounds of up 2000m2 ( 0.5 acres) . The brushless motor are belt and pulls free, with no maintenance.
The Freedom 30e also comes with a mulching kit if you'd prefer to spread fine cuttings over your lawn rear collection in roomy 240L breathable textile collector.
Like many Mountfield riders the Freedom 30e is packed with detail and features which really makes the Mountfield brand stand out. This includes LED lit dashboard, USB charging socket, cup holder, Mountfield ergonomic steering wheel and seat adjustment to fit the user shape, washing link - to name but a few!
Like it's side discharge counterpart the Freedom 38e-SD, the 30e rear collect model outdoes comparable petrol-driven machines on many levels: firstly, it’s almost silent in operation, so the working-environment will be more pleasant for both you and your neighbours; secondly, there’ll be no last-minute dashes to the petrol station to top-up on fuel; and thirdly, service-charges are eliminated, as the motor is entirely maintenance-free.
The Freedom 30e battery-powered electric ride-on Mower has a 84cm cut; a wide enough cut to facilitate the speedy coverage of more substantial lawns of up to 2000sqm.
A robust steel cutter-deck means any accidental knocks and bumps will be shrugged off; while Stiga's provision of seven ( 25 -80 mm) preset heights-of-cut makes it possible to achieve your desired finish, whatever the grass-length (height selection is via a lever positioned directly to hand).
