Supplying the power for the corrosion resistant and impressively efficient aluminium pump is a high-capacity 296c electric-start diesel engine that develops a substantial 6hp @ 3600rpm, and which, as you'd expect from a diesel motor, offers superior fuel economy and high low-end torque.

The DHY50E Diesel Water-Pump boasts an automatic shutdown system that prevents catastrophic engine damage should a dry oil-reservoir go unnoticed.
