Combining a powerful but nevertheless super-efficient 3298cc/27hp water-cooled diesel engine with a huge 93-litre fuel-capacity, this commercial-duty three-phase generator from Korean engineering-experts Hyundai will produce power for up to 10.3 hours on a single fill of the tank!

The Hyundai DHY28KSE is a versatile unit, which can be used for both backup power when the grid fails, and for prime applications, which require constant power-generation for servers, refrigeration units, etc. The maximum standby output is 22kW; the maximum prime output is 20kW.

Although it’s capable of handling very heavy loads, the Hyundai DHY28KSE 3-Phase Diesel Generator can, thanks to its Automatic Voltage Regulator, be used to drive less demanding equipment that might be susceptible to surge-damage (laptops; phones; tablets; TVs).

A low 1500rpm engine-speed means reduced wear on key parts and a commensurate increase in service-life; while Hyundai’s provision of a lengthy two-year warranty (T & Cs apply) serves to underline the build-quality of your potential purchase.

This model benefits from a convenient electric key ignition, but can be paired with an optional Automatic Transfer Switch, if you’d prefer it to start and stop according to demand.
