You can pair it up with any of three 40v lithium-ion batteries - 2Ah; 4Ah; 6Ah - all of which have been developed in-house by Redback using cutting-edge power cells from Japan's top manufacturer. The resulting battery-packs charge-up faster and run longer than inferior lead-acid and ni-cad units; and they don’t suffer from self-discharge and memory-effect issues, thereby ensuring they’re always ready to use (batteries compatible with Redback’s entire 40v line).
The Redback E522D Cordless Hedgetrimmer is fitted with a pair of 56cm blades, which are double-sided for rapid bi-directional cutting; and laser-cut and dual-reciprocating for an impressively clean cut, even in thicker growth.
It combines a quick-stop blade-brake with overload-protection, so it excels in terms of user-safety; and it boasts a rotating rear-handle that makes it possible to create complex shapes without having to adopt an unnatural working-position.
Also featured are an oversized handle and large trigger-switch for easy operation with gloved hands.
