SCH FM48 122cm Tow-Behind Flail Mower

From top-end British manufacturers SCH, this heavy-duty tractor-towed flail mower is a fast and efficient way to cover large areas of rough grass, pasture, meadow and woodland.

Its powerful but clean-burning and fuel-efficient 13hp Honda four-stroke OHV engine powers a series of 42 flails that will take long, dense grass, nettles and weeds in their stride. Power is sent to the flails via a V-Belt drive, so an overload will simply snap the belt, rather than causing catastrophic transmission damage.

Full skirt-guards prevent the operator’s feet from being exposed to the blades; the engine and emergency-stop switch are within easy reach of your tractor’s driving seat.

The SCH FM48 122cm Tow-Behind Flail Mower features twin transport-wheels with large, 380mm pneumatic tyres for a smooth rough-ground run.

The tow-bar – with ball hitch – can either be central or offset.

This unit is designed for tractors with engines rated at 18hp and above.
