The blades are both laser-cut and diamond-ground for stay-sharp durability, and they benefit from a sizeable 24mm tooth-pitch, which ensures thicker growth can be trimmed with no stalling or blockages.
The Oleo-Mac HC-605E Electric Hedgetrimmer boasts a three-step, 90°-adjustable rear handle, which can be configured to help you avoid adopting an uncomfortable – and potentially unsafe – body position when trimming awkwardly positioned and/or shaped hedges.
A quick-stop blade brake halts the cutting-action in less than half a second when you release the ergonomically sculpted trigger; Oleo-Mac’s provision of a 10-metre power cord means you’ll be able to work a decent distance from the house without using an extension board.
This model also features a see-through handguard, which enables a clear, unimpeded view of the area you’re trimming.
