The 48v Stiga SBC 900 D AE is one of the few cordless brushcutters in production with a ‘cowhorn’ handlebar; a premium feature that confers superior comfort, control and manoeuvrability, which in turn makes it a great candidate for day-long use. Comfort is further enhanced by a backpack battery harness, which distributes the weight of the two suggested 7.5Ah batteries evenly across the user’s body*.
Supplied with a 43cm line head and a 25.5cm three-tooth metal blade, the Stiga SBC 900 D AE is an adaptable machine, which can be quickly configured for either grass trimming or brushcutting (Stiga’s Bump & Work mechanism makes line-feed quick and easy).
A high-specification brushless motor brings impressive durability and produces power-levels equivalent to a 45cc internal-combustion machine; a fast-cooling, moisture- and dust-resistant magnesium transmission ensures season after season of unfailing operation.
Also featured on the Stiga SBC 900 D AE 48v Cordless Brushcutter is a digital keypad, from which you can adjust the cutting-speed not only to suit the situation, but also to manage battery drain-rate.
