Stiga PR 730 C Top-Handle Petrol Arborist’s Chainsaw with 1/4" Chain (25cm Guide Bar)

One of the smallest and lightest petrol chainsaws ever produced by Stiga – it has a 25cm bar and weighs only 4.9kg – the top-handled PR 730 C is aimed at professional tree surgeons looking for a safe and comfortable way to tackle in-tree applications.

It might be compact, but it’s nevertheless impressively powerful, with its 27cc air-cooled two-stroke engine producing a beefy 1hp, and employing Stiga’s cutting-edge engine technologies for clean-running and fuel efficient operation with no compromise on performance.

A fuel primer combines with an auto-return choke and a digital coil to make achieving ignition quick and easy; a premium, rapid-access air filter - manufactured from sponge and compressed fibre - provides the ultimate in component protection.

The Stiga PR 730 C Top-Handle Petrol Arborist’s Chainsaw is equipped with Stiga’s VCS anti-vibration system; a feature that facilitates day-long use with minimal stress placed on the hands and arms.

It benefits from an automatic chain-oiler, which ensures a low-friction, low-temperature cut; and it boasts a dual-action chain brake (manual/inertia), which works to optimise operator safety.

The specialist ¼” chain on the Stiga PR 730 C Top-Handle Petrol Arborist’s Chainsaw has extra-small teeth, which cut far more cleanly and precisely than the teeth found on a standard 3/8” chain.
