The lawns in fashion are wearing stripes this spring, so here’s ten top striping mowers

Fashions come and go in the garden just as much as haut couture with old-fashioned plants like hollyhocks and delphiniums one year and scabious and penstemon the next.

And so it is with lawns, and this year lawns will be wearing stripes.

There is no doubt that a perfectly-striped lawn is a real picture, typifying the traditional British garden and showing off flower beds awash with summer blooms to their best.

You can only achieve this look with a mower with a rear roller – a conventional rotary machine won’t leave stripes which will last longer than a day or so.

The other advantage of rear-roller mowers is that they can trim grass shorter than rotary machines – think bowling and putting greens.

We have a large choice of these mowers and here are ten of the best to consider across a wide price range.

Remember you can give us a ring on 020 3026 8712 if you want one but are not sure which is the correct machine for your garden. We know what we are talking about. Just ask our customers… “Excellent Product and Outstanding Service . The advice I received from MowDirect was spot on and this product was perfect…”

So, for lawns around 800m2 this new and exclusive machine is ideal.
