As we lurch into the early weeks of the new year, blinking in the dim light of the chilly January dawn and wondering why our Christmas holidays were shorter than a list of Donald Trumps foreign policy achievements, I cannot help but notice that li-ion batteries are again being chatted about quite a bit. This is probably the result of some very well thought out cordless Christmas presents being tentatively tested for the first time.
In his blog yesterday, Dick pointed out that battery-powered garden equipment is going to be taking up more and more of our news headlines as technology improves their power, lightness and efficiency while matching, and in some cases possibly surpassing, petrol machines for power.
No emissions, lighter, easier to use, cheaper to run, cleaner; surely using lithium-ion tools in your garden is a no brainer. It certainly is right now for some people, but persuading all long-time petrol users to switch is going to be a hard task and, no doubt, there are challenges ahead for the battery industry.
However, there is also no doubt that for some people battery power has taken over as the first choice. We have an increasing number of customers buying up our whole Redback range, taking advantage of the the ‘one-battery-runs-all’ philosophy that makes this collection of quality tools so attractive.
“I now have all the products in this range, The build quality is good, and the performance excellent!” GEORGE
So if you are reading this because you are interested in purchasing or at least finding out more, about these amazing tools, good. You have come to the right place. or at least, the right portal. We are the exclusive UK retailer of Redback cordless garden tools and helped to develop them, specifically for our customers. So why don’t I help you find out more about battery power and Redback tools like the powerful E216 Chainsaw and the Redback Hedgetrimmer.
“Great piece of kit. Purchased the Redback Chainsaw and Hedge Trimmer and was surprised by the build quality and ease of assembly. I’ve used it for just over 90 mins and the first battery lasted the course (6A 40V). I purchased a 2nd battery which was pricey but are worth it as nothing is worse than stopping mid-job. Although I’ve owned the chainsaw for just a few days, the quality of this machine is great and managed to cut down a 25ft tree with ease.”
By this I mean, rather than write a whole stream of information about Cordless tools, here are some links to articles on battery powered tools in our knowledge base MowHow
