With a cutting width of 105cm it can whip through large lawns quickly giving more leisure time and it is a Transmatic Drive system and is an excellent collector of grass when it is wet with the company’s Direct Collect system – so no blocked discharge chutes.
There are five cutting heights from 30mm to 95mm so it can leave the finish you prefer and the cutting deck has anti-scalp wheels so it follows the contours of the lawn without scalping it.
This one costs £1999, £400 less than the price recommended and is delivered FREE within two to three working days.
Plus there is a two-year warranty.
And the third machine for large areas from our Christmas list is the German engineered Al-Ko T16-92HD Twin-Cylinder Lawn Tractor, another for areas around 6000m2.
This one has a Briggs & Stratton 565cc twin-cylinder engine and is fitted with a special Hi-Lift blade to give strong air currents under the cutting deck which leads to efficient collection of grass even when it’s wet.
It has a 220-litre grass box which can be emptied from the driver’s seat and drives much like an automatic car, so you have exact speed control and no gear changes to worry about.
There are six cutting heights and it is fitted with a high-backed seat making it comfortable to drive.
This is another machine with wheels on the cutting deck to follow the contours of the lawn.
