This too has a unique cutting head designed so the line will not tangle and has a fully protected gear box.
Single speed drive makes it easy to use in even the roughest areas and it can take out thick banks of nettles and other persistent, thick vegetation.
This one costs £609, a full £50 off the maker’s recommended retail price.
It is delivered free the next working day and has a two year manufacturer’s warranty.
And the top of the range is the DR TR4 Pro Wheeled Trimmer-Mower – Electric Start (DRMP55) a machine designed for professional use and for larger domestic properties.
The Briggs & Stratton engine delivers terrific torque performance with a special noise reduction system and is designed to keep emissions and petrol consumption to a minimum.
This has extra thick cord for cutting through the thickest scrub.
There are five cutting heights and the off-set design lets you cut right up to wall edges and fences.
A front bumper gives the machine some protection if you hit hidden boulders or other rubbish and the handlebars are padded to reduce vibrations letting you work longer without getting tired.
The machine costs £689 compared with the maker’s recommended cost of £729.
