The UK's garden charity the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) will be hosting National Gardening Week in a little under a month – from April 15th to 21st.
It was noted that there will be something on offer for green-fingered enthusiasts and professionals alike – no matter their age or skill level.
Some of the RHS gardens – such as those in Surrey, Yorkshire, Essex and Devon – will be fostering an enthusiasm for working with garden equipment among youngsters.
Indeed, they will be offered the chance to learn how to sow their very own mini-wildflower meadow.
This could help to optimise a garden for pollinators like bees – and it is exactly the kind of activity the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds likes to encourage.
More experienced gardeners will be able to enjoy National Gardening Week by participating in interactive workshops on topics like beekeeping, managing meadows and much more.
