Premium range lawnmowers from Efco – New for 2008

New for 2008 and now in stock, we are pleased to be able announce the launch of this premium range of lawnmowers from Efco – Italy’s leading manufacturer of garden machinery. Packed with features and made to the highest specifications, these professional grade lawnmowers from Efco promise years of trouble free use and should prove a welcome addition to the tool shed for any discerning homeowner looking to invest that little bit more to get the very best.

All models boast hard wearing aluminium decks that won’t rust and self-propelled models in the range are fitted with steel wheels for extra robustness – a real bonus! Other quality features include adjustable handles to suit the height of the operator, fan assisted collection and infinitely variable height adjustment enabling you to achieve the perfect cut.

Efco ‘Pluscut’ 3-in-1 Combo Lawnmowers also provide a choice of cutting options making them a truly versatile choice for any gardener. In collection mode Efco lawnmowers will produce a neat and tidy finish on lawn areas up to 2400 square metres. The specially designed ventilated collectors help to really pack in the grass cuttings so you stop less to empty and get the job done quicker. Without the need of tools and with very little effort it’s possible to convert these lawnmowers into mulching mode by removing the catcher and inserting a mulch plug into the rear of the machine. Mulching lawn mowers can get the job done twice as quick as when collecting and given the right conditions the results can be just as impressive. For longer grass and areas of rough Efco ‘Pluscut’ combo lawnmowers can also cut in discharge mode where cuttings are simply left on the ground – a quick and effortless solution for areas where appearance isn’t your main consideration.

A wide range of models are available with a range of cutting widths (43cm/46cm/53cm) and a choice of engines on offer. There are both push and self-propelled models within the range with further options on variable speed drive – great if your garden contains slopes – and a blade brake. Blade brakes incidentally whilst costing you a bit more greatly help to reduce wear and tear on your machine as there’s no need to continuously restart your lawnmower every time you empty the catcher. If you find it difficult to pull start a lawnmower you can also have the option of an electric or spring-assisted starting system.
