Neat stripes on a well-trimmed lawn make us think of tennis, strawberries and cream and straw hats, a typical summer’s day, the like of which we shall see this coming week if the weather people are correct.

This one, the New Hayter Harrier 41 Autodrive Variable-Speed Rear-Roller Lawnmower (Code: 375A) has been recently re-designed by Hayter.
It has a 190cc Briggs & Stratton, low on vibrations and emissions and mean on fuel and lets you cut grass at the speed you specify.
The cast aluminium cutter deck has a lifetime warranty and the two-piece polymer rear roller will give the striped finish which really sets off a garden.
It also has the company’s Vari-Pitch technology to increase the airflow under the cutting deck which in turn leads to better grass collection.
Being a rear roller mower you can cut right up to the lawn edges but a Trim Side means you can mow close to walls and fences.
Cutting heights are from 13mm to 65mm with seven settings and it has a 60-litre grass box.
