Preparing the soil and creating a fine tilth – where the soil is broken down into fine granules - is essential for successful veg-growing, and the WOLF-Garten C30E Electric Tiller/Cultivator is the perfect tool for the job.

CULTIVATION MADE EASYReview by Mr Idris L Bowen / (Posted on 07/11/2014)I was unsure which electric tiller to go for but have been extremely pleased that I chose the Wolf. It made the task of preparing a previously heavily planted garden area simple, achieving a fine tilth in a very short space of time.
This would have been impossible for me using a spade and rake, and would have taken an age. It will be used again when my vegetable plot is cleared and I would not hesitate to recommend this. The build quality is excellent and the wheels are essential to tiller operation in my view.

A good solid performer.

A good solid performer.Review by A Bradford / (Posted on 29/05/2013)I've only had it a couple of weeks so this is very much a report of first impressions. I have a large Merry-Tiller cultivator but it is such a sweat to change it over from its normal role as a wheeled tractor / cart that I found I was resisting using it for cultivating especially for small patches of ground. Hence my purchase of this small electric cultivator.
I've only used it on dug-over ground and it seems to work well. However I couldn't make it work with the wheels inverted as shown in the instructions but it seems to work fine with the wheels down as if for transport. Easily carried and convenient for churning over small patches. The largest border I've done so far is some 20 yards x 4 yards and this was easily tackled and it made a good job.
Reviews on other electric cultivators indicate weak handles etc. I get the impression the Wolf is a sturdier model as befits the sturdier price.
