No one wants to be stuck in their home during a snowfall, unable to get to work, to the doctor, to school. As winters seem to be getting worse, you need an efficient way of clearing those paths or driveways without backbreaking bending and shovelling.
The Stiga Snow Rex Single-Stage Snow Blower is a lightweight, manoeuvrable petrol powered machine with a working width of 53 centimetres and a snow intake height of 25 centimetres; that will clear snow from smaller domestic premises with very little fuss and effort.
Driven by a reliable and powerful 190cc snow series engine, from Briggs and Stratton, designed to work in freezing temperatures.
The Stiga Snow Rex is a single-stage machine, so both forward propulsion and snow-breaking are performed by a strong steel auger with tough and flexible rubber blades attached, which breaks up the snow and gets right down to the surface for a ‘back-to-black’ clearance
The snow is thrown, up to 1.8 metres away through the exit chute which can rotate up to 190° and can be operated from the pushing position with a crank handle.
The fuel tank capacity of 1.9 litres gives you plenty of scope to clear your paths without needing a refill, and handling is easy with the fitted bail-arm
The Snow Rex is made to deal with extremely low temperatures and cold starts, and the recoil pull-type ignition has an over-sized handle for operation wearing gloves.
The Snow Rex is compact and this, plus the low weight of 30 kilograms and the handy folding handle, makes it easy to store and transport.
