Even a light fall of snow can cause you problems, blocking your path, preventing you from getting your car out or stopping you from getting to work so let the Stiga Snow Prisma Single-Stage Snow Blower take the stress and strain out of clearing the snow.
A clearing width of 55 centimetres and a snow intake height of 32 centimetres, mean the Stiga Snow Prisma is capable of handling fresh falls of light to moderate snow with ease.
It is driven by a hard-wearing, reliable Briggs and Stratton, 205cc, 800 Snow Series engine, which has smooth operation, fuel efficient, corrosion resistant and will keep going in freezing weather. The fuel tank holds 2.81 litres, so less refilling and more clearing.
For convenience and reliability there are two ways of starting the Stiga Snow Prisma; a pull-chord, recoil start, with an oversized handle for gloved operation, and an electric start, for which a 10-metre cable is supplied
In a single-stage machine like this, the auger both propels the machine forward and simultaneously churns and throws the snow up and out of the chute at speed, up to twelve metres away.
The auger is steel with strong rubber blades attached, so it can clear right down to the surface, or ‘back-to-black’.
The snow exit chute can be rotated through 220°, so you can direct the stream of broken snow where you want it. This rotation is controlled from the handlebar via a lever. The pitch of the chute is carried out by means of a lever on the chute, simply lean and change. This means these operations can be carried out without leaving the operating position.
The Stiga Snow Prisma, with its foldable handle and compact size can be stored and transported easily.
Easy to manoeuvre and steer, the machine is controlled with a simple and easy-to use bail arm, for one-handed operation where necessary.
