Its nine-inch (23cm) triple-tipped steel blade is driven by a powerful 3.5hp four-stroke motor from world-leading small-engine experts Briggs & Stratton, so fuel-efficiency; long life; and headache-free starting are all assured. Power is sent via a belt-drive, which ensures the shock from any accidental impact will be easily absorbed.

The self-sharpening blade on the MTD 550G Lawn Edger can be angle-adjusted through three-stages, giving you the perfect working-angle for any given task. It can be quickly replaced if damaged.

The MTD 550G also features a heavy-gauge steel deck for impressive strength and durability; and an ergonomic handlebar with a comfortable bail-arm grip for the low-effort completion of large-scale jobs.
