Hayter hand-helds win approval

Hayter Hayter hand-held tools has won praise from the illustrious Garden News newspaper this week, obtaining good scores for its hedge trimmer and its brush cutter.

The hedge trimmer was described by the paper's reviewer as: "A powerful, effective and very versatile hedge cuttermuch easier to deal with awkward branches," adding that "It can cut quite thick branches".

It gained a worthy 3.5 out of a possible five, but the best was yet to come with the paper's review of the BCL 2250-RS brushcutter.

Scoring an impressive four out of five, the reviewer praised the double line which "slashed through grass, nettles and bramble patches with ease" and complimented its stylish look and usability.

Priced around £200, this "powerful and effective brushcutter" was said to be the ideal tool of choice for clearing garden areas.

The reviewer also stated that it was light to use and easy to manoeuvre into awkward corners, adding that they had no problems using it over a prolonged period of time. They also commented that replacing the line and switching from line to blade was a "simple process".
