Two impressive, cordless hedgecutters have been presented by Bosch this week, boasting ergonomic designs, powerful cutting action and a lightweight casing to entice gardeners who only accept the best quality products.
The AHS 41 Accu and AHS 52 Accu have different cutter lengths of 41 or 52 centimetres and both work with a powerful 14.4-volt battery in nickel cadmium technology allowing almost an hour's worth of cutting before it needs recharging.
For gardeners who own other Bosch garden and house tools, such as drills, drivers, impact drills, hand-held circular saws, jigsaws, air pumps and lights, an additional bonus is the fact that the battery is interchangeable with the whole range allowing the gardener to complete tasks all around the garden and home with just one charged battery.
The Accu range of hedgecutters is sure to make light work of arduous hedgetrimming tasks, since it only weighs 2.6 kilogrammes with the battery attached. The optimum centre of gravity of the tool and the large distance between the two handles also allow for an easily guided, safe sweeping action.
In addition, gardeners may wish to consider investing in one of Bosch's Collecto cuttings collectors, which gathers the clippings allowing them to be tipped sideways onto the ground, preventing cuttings from falling into the hedge.
