Gardening machinery manufacturer Ryobi has recently launched its latest range of power tools designed to the "argh!" out of gardening and DIY chores.
Presented at the DIY & Garden Show, 23 new tools were on display. Destined for a garden shed near you soon were 13 corded power tools to complement the existing ranges of A/C sanders, saws, planers and routers.
Also being showcased were ten new products from the highly successful One Plus range which now in total includes 23 tools, making it one of the most versatile cordless tool system in the world and a clear rival for Bosch.
One Plus is based on a cost-cutting concept for gardeners, where, like Bosch's power tool range, it eliminates the need to buy a separate battery for each of the tools.
Commenting on the new range, Ryobi commercial director Tim Stainton said: "When we began developing One Plus, our aim was to develop a range that offered quality, convenience and flexibility at an affordable price. The result is the largest range, and one of the best value cordless systems on the market."
