Garden power tools manufacturer Mantis has announced that following the success of its tillers and cultivators in the UK it will soon be launching the E-System, which sees four essential garden tools combined into one.
The E-System, which includes a hedge trimmer, tree and shrub pruner, line trimmer and a lawn edger, has enjoyed huge success in the US, having been awarded the MGA Green Thumb Award from the Mailorder Gardening Association last year.
Specifically designed for the less-mobile gardener, the E-System involves one power head which can then have one of the four attachments snapped onto it, each of which will cost around £84.
The E-System Power Head has a 36 inch-long shaft that lets the user easily reach up into tall trees or down to low-growing hedges and groundcover and features an 850-watt electric motor that packs plenty of power.
It also comes complete with a handy shoulder harness, making it easier to hold and manoeuvre the power head into a variety of cutting positions and will reportedly cost around £98.
