As the weather takes a turn for the better, many gardeners will be considering sprucing up their garden and where better to start than by blasting the patio clean of all the moss and grime built up over the winter.
Efco, one of the UK's leading power equipment specialists has launched two new cold-water electric high-pressure washers.
The IP 1200S and the IP 1350S are ideal for garden use thanks to their light weights and easy manoeuvrability, but the professional build quality means that they would be equally suited to a garage of light industrial environment too.
Featuring a 120 bar maximum pressure with a maximum water flow of 360 litres per hour, a 230 volt, 1600W power rating and a long life aluminium pump with thermal overload protection, the IP 1200S model is only bettered by the 1350S version with a slightly higher maximum pressure, a 410 litres per hour flow rate and a 2000W power rating.
The 1350S version also comes complete with an eight metre extension hose. Prices for the pressure washers begin at £99.99 for the most basic model.
As with most Efco products, the pressure washers are armed with its Easy-Start mechanism, as well as an energy saving feature - the Total Stop interlock - which cuts the motor once the lance jet is turned off, activating it again when the water flow is turned on.
This has the benefit of minimising wear and tear on the pump to give a prolonged life of more than double that of many similar models.
