Viking reports sales boom

Lawnmower manufacturer Viking has recorded a record high for sales over the past few months.
Viking's new 5 and 6 series mowers have proved to be exceedingly popular, thanks to their high quality blades coupled with clever underbody aerodynamics.
The mowers' success comes down to Viking's attention to detail, according to the manufacturer, with factors like the cutting width of 43 to 53cm (17-21 inches) and the soft-grip handlebar with recessed groove for the drive controls, making all the difference to consumers.
Viking's patented ReadyStart system, an automatic choke which negates the need to continuously yank a pull-start cord, is also thought to be among the reasons behind the boom in recent sales.
Its acquisition by Stihl Power Tools has also ensured that the mowers are constructed with a robust build quality, which the manufacturer claims "maintains the reliable reputation of the Stihl family brand".
