Gardena introduces garden watering aids

Other Garden Machinery With the days becoming ever warmer, parched gardens can take some comfort from Gardena's latest watering ideas by making use of its new water butt and pump system.

Water butts are becoming a common feature in many UK gardens now, but removing the water from the storage tanks and transporting it across the garden to thirsty plants can be something of a chore.

Gardena hopes to solve that problem with its new water butt and water butt pump. Using a telescopic fitting pipe, gardeners can now hook their water tank up to the garden pump and attach wither a sprayer, water-dripper or straight-cut hose pipe to the end.

The mains powered pump has a 300w motor and can be submerge up to seven metres, while its cordless counterpart comes with a 60w motor and can be put underwater up to 1.5 metres deep.

Costing around £74.99, the Gardena Water Butt Pump could realistically bring an end to gardeners struggling across the lawn with heavy watering cans.
