New Cordless Shrub-shear for 2010 launched by Bosch!

Gardeners looking for an easy-to-use hand-held trimmer tool can now get their hands on the Bosch ASB 10.8 LI Cordless Shrub-Shear at MowDirect.

Powered by a high-performance 10.8v lithium battery, the Bosch trimmer is controllable and precise with a range of optional accessories for all grass and shrub shearing jobs.

The ultra-lightweight batteries provide 100 minutes running time from just three hours of charging using a mobile-phone style charger.

Optional blades available from the gardening machinery and equipment experts MowDirect include a 110mm shrub-shear blade and 80mm or 100mm grass-shear blades.

Demand for battery powered cordless shears has grown significantly in recent years, with ongoing advances in battery technology resulting in lighter models with longer running times.

Topiary is also seeing a revival in popularity in the UK, with many horticulturalists and landscapers viewing the art as an integral part of modern gardens, according to the European Boxwood and Topiary Society.
