DR Premier Field & Brush Lawn Mower launched by MowDIRECT

Keen gardeners can now get their hands on the DR FBM 12.5HP Premier Field & Brush Mower at MowDirect.

Capable of cutting through two-inch saplings, eight-foot weeds and lawns with grass up to four-foot high, the DR Premier model combines power with reliability for quality performance.

Powered by a 12.5HP Briggs & Stratton overhead-valve engine, the mower drives a four-speed transmission including a reverse gear.

The DR FBM can also manage wet, muddy conditions thanks to its Motocross-style tyre-tread and commercial-duty clutch.

During the winter months, grass continues to grow but at a slower rate because of the damp and cold conditions.

Factors restricting lawn mowing in the colder seasons include ground frost, rain and water logging.

Earlier this month, East Herts District Council introduced new recycling wheelie bins for food and garden waste as part of an initiative to encourage more eco-friendly refuse collection among families in the area, the Hertfordshire Mercury reported.
