Low cost cultivators and tillers from Centurion
Mowdirect news > Cultivators and Tillers
Monday, January 05 2009 18:05:18 by Alison Patel
Alison Patel writes: Cultivators are ideal tools for stirring and pulverizing soil prior to planting and MowDIRECT has a range of petrol models from Centurion to choose from.
They can also be used on existing soil to remove weeds and aerate the land, so are the perfect tools if you already have an allotment or vegetable patch that needs tending to.
Consumers can choose between machines that run with reliable Briggs & Stratton engines or smooth running Honda engines.
There are mini cultivators for those who have small vegetables plots, while gardeners with allotments may be better suited to larger front tine tillers.
The Centurion Meppy 3.5 cultivator comes with a Briggs & Stratton classic engine and has a 26 centimetre tilling width with single forward drive.
It has a depth gauge and front wheel which make it the perfect tool for moving around a garden or on a vegetable patch.
What's more, it's great value and comes with one year's manufacturer's warranty and free next working day delivery.
The Centurion Meppy 4.5 Cultivator runs on a larger, more powerful Honda engine and is easy to start, plus operators will find that in addition to the features of the Centurion Meppy 3.5, the 4.5 cultivator runs smoothly.
Ideal for larger gardens is the Centurion Polo 50R cultivator, which has forward and reverse gears, a solid steel frame and is powered by a five hp Honda GC160 engine.
It has a huge 54 centimetre tilling width so can handle even the largest jobs with ease.
