MowDirect buys all stock of Flymo Petrol Hover Mowers

Alison Patel writes: MowDirect has the Flymo XL500plus petrol hover mover (four-stroke) and the XL550 model.

Both models are ideal for gardeners who want an easy to manoeuvre, light machine that gives the user added freedom.

The Flymo XL500 plus is driven by Honda's powerful 165cc/5.5hp GCV160 four-stroke engine.

It is easy to start and is ideal for use on slopes that are up to 45 degrees steep. Operators will be able to get the job done quickly by making use of the 50.5 centimetre metal blade and three separate cutting heights (ten to 26mm).

Those that have need a mower for semi-professional and professional use, the new Flymo XL550 is ideal.

In addition to its powerful engine, metal blades and different cutting heights that you also get with the XL500, it comes with transport wheels for added comfort and to offer users support on large, open spaces.

Commenting on the decision to buy up stock, MowDirect said: "With prices in the garden machinery rising fast due to the slide in value of the pound and increases in the cost of raw materials we wanted to secure the best deal possible for our customers on this popular product.
