Garden Tractor for under a grand

Alison Patel writes: The MTD MOWMASTER ride-on tractor is amazing value when you consider that it has 3-in-1 cutting capability and is suitable for paddocks and orchards as well as lawns.

Those that want to use the tractor for lawns can make use of the optional mulch plug or collection unit which will help create a smarter appearance.

Large areas are not a problem for the MTD MOWMASTER as it comes with an extra-wide 38-inch cutting width that will get lawns mowed in efficiently.

For unruly gardens or large overgrown areas, gardeners can use the side-eject cutting deck.

It is powered by a 12.5 hp engine and has an array of attachments available that include rollers, trailers, lawn sweepers and scarifying rakes, so if needs be it can be used all year round.

The transmatic drive system is unique to the MTD MOWMASTER and it makes it much simpler to drive than other standard gear drive systems on the market.
