Landscaping company get opportunity to create garden at top exhibition
Mowdirect news > Gardening News
Wednesday, June 25 2008 17:50:07 by Alison Patel
Alison Patel writes: A landscaping company has had their garden design accepted by a prestigious horticultural exhibition and their worked is set to be shown at this year's show.
Paul Morris and Mike Ball established their SALE company, Morris and Ball Landscapes, four years ago and will be designing a garden for the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park for the second time.
Illustrating the difficulties that are often involved when sourcing materials for a show, Paul Morris, said: "We're panicking at the moment about the plants because an early burst of sun means some have been and gone already. We've been speaking to people as far away as Scotland to source new plants."
The duo has, however, expressed their delight at being picked to exhibit at what the show's manager, Kris Hulewicz, has described as a "milestone year for Tatton".
New community initiatives and an animated learning and skills programme will be on offer to visitors, in addition to "ample shopping opportunities".
Taking place from July 23rd to July 27th the show will celebrate its tenth birthday this year.
