Gtech HT06 hedgetrimmer can tackle 'the toughest of cuts'

Arash Hekmat writes: For those people with tough hedges that need taming, the new cordless Gtech HT06 hedgetrimmer is an ideal choice.
With an 18 volt battery, this hedgetrimmer provides 30 per cent more power than the HT01, meaning that it can cut through the toughest and densest of foliage.
Its adjustable telescopic handle gives it a total reach of 1.6 metres when fully extended and the articulated head can be moved by up to 70 degrees to ensure that no branch is out of reach.
According to Gech the HT06 features a 32cm blade and metal gearing to ensure extra durability, meaning it can handle "the toughest of cuts". The battery is integrated into the unit, which weighs just 1.8kg in total.
It can be purchased straight from Mow Direct for £89.95 including VAT, with free next day working delivery and a one year manufacturer's warranty.
Gardeners with slightly smaller spaces to maintain might prefer the Gtech HT01 cordless hedgetrimmer, which features a 12 volt battery that provides 45 minutes of running time on full charge, and a steel blade 23cm long.
For maximum comfort, the battery (weighing 0.6kg) can be removed from the unit and worn separately around the waist.
