As the days get warmer, a growing number of green-fingered enthusiasts will be pruning hedges, mowing lawns and planting flowers. However, it is often the case that there are many spots in any outside space which are difficult to tend.

Thankfully, that's where products such as the Stihl HLE-71 long reach hedgetrimmer can really come in handy.

This hedgetrimmer has an overall length of 2.54 meters and as such will mean that users can put those perilous instances of teetering on a ladder to trim a rather tall hedge far behind them.

It is equipped with a 600 watt motor and a 50cm long cutting blade which can be adjusted 135 degrees.

What's more, the Stihl HLE-71 only weighs 5.9kg, making it very practical for use in small and medium sized gardens.

It also comes with shoulder straps and loop handles so it is comfortable to use.

Available for £299 from Mow Direct, this hedgetrimmer comes with free two to three day delivery and a 12-month manufacturer's warranty.
