Garden show attracts visitors

Emily Jenkins writes: A garden show in Cheltenham attracted thousands of visitors this Bank Holiday weekend (May 2nd to May 5th).
The Home and Garden show, which was hosted at the region's famous racecourse, was run by Premier Exhibitions and featured a range of ideas to improve an outdoor space, the Gloucestershire Echo reports.
John Bowle, the managing director of the organisers, revealed that the goods on show for both the garden and home, once again, proved very popular.
"This is our 38th year," he told the publication. "We've got everything you can think of to choose from."
"We expect more than 30,000 to have visited by the end of today when it finishes. It's always proved very popular and this year has proved no exception.
"The great thing about exhibitions is that it allows you to actually see and feel the product in use," Mr Bowle added.
Meanwhile, visitors to the Home and Garden show would have done well to heed the advice of property expert Jacquie Lund.
Ms Lund, in an interview with the Times, urged gardeners to create visual links between a beautiful garden and an attractive home.
