Hayter mower provides green option

Leigh Jackson writes: Hayter's R48 recycling autodrive lawnmower allows gardeners to cut the grass while thinking about the environment.

The lawnmower mulches the grass cuttings after re-ingesting them, providing the lawn with a fine fertilizer promoting growth.

But if mulching is an unsuitable option, clippings can also be collected in the 65 litre capacity facility at the rear of the machine.

To ensure that the lawn is cut efficiently the mower makes use of Briggs and Stratton 500 series engine.

And for quality, yet speedy trim, the machine incorporates a 48 centimetre wide cutting blade, which can be adjusted to a number of varying lengths suited to a gardener's need.
