School garden contest winners announced

Tony Domingo writes: The ESH Winning Primary School in Durham has been awarded the prestigious Religious Education and Environment Programme award for its garden.
The school received an £1,000 award from the authority for its outdoor space, which was developed by the pupils and teacher involved in its popular gardening club, the Northern Echo reports.
Durham Labour MP Roberta Blackman-Woods, who visited the school, congratulated the establishment for its work.
She told the publication: "I congratulate Esh Winning Primary on its award and the marvellous work they are doing to develop the school garden and the gardening club.
"The children told me about their visit to London to receive the award and then we went outside to look at the garden itself."
Ms Blackman-Woods added: "The school has a polytunnel where plants can be grown even during this time of year and I had a look at the hanging baskets."
