Local business lends hand to school garden

Tony Domingo writes: Workers from the Chiswick Business Park have lent a hand to a local school by helping it to construct a sensory garden.
The employees of the park downed their regular tools and picked up lawnmowers, hedgetrimmers and brushcutters to surprise the children of the nearby Grove Park School with a new outdoor space, the Richmond and Twickenham Times reports.
The new garden, designed to stimulate the children, has sweet smelling flowers, organic herbs for the children to taste and bright plants for them? to look at.
Brian Hardman, the caretaker at the school, expressed the school's gratitude for the help of the volunteers.
He told the publication: "We were talking about the quiet area recently, so we were so excited when we got the phone call from Chiswick Business Park offering to come and help us."
The zone is designed to give the children a quiet area to relax in, aside from the more traditional playground.
