Hospital begins garden of therapy build

Leigh Jackson writes: A hospital has begun construction of a tranquil and therapeutic garden for its patients.
The Sir Robert Peel Hospital in Tamworth has completed fundraising for the scheme and recently began work on the garden, which includes raised flower beds and a memorial wall, the Tamworth Herald reports.
Dawn Perry, an occupational therapist with the hospital, revealed that the garden would be an asset to the patients and also to the wider community.
She told the publication: "The development of the patient garden is very important to so many people.
"It's not only important for our patients, who will gain many benefits from this tranquil facility, but also the local community."
She added: "Our aim is to create a vibrant, colourful and safe area for people to wander, sit and relax."
The hospital raised £7,000 to construct the garden, which should be completed by June.
