Stihl and Kawasaki named best for hedgetrimmers

In a recent review analysing the best ways to tackle the garden hedge, a gardening expert cited Kawasaki and Stihl as the best hedgetrimmer manufacturers.
According to Bunny Guinness, now is the hardest time of year to keep your hedges from looking a little "fuzzy" around the edges, so its worth investing in a good quality hedgetrimmer.
Writing for the Telegraph, Ms Guinness commented that each hedge needed a slightly different type of treatment, depending on whether it was made from a tangled, strong wood or a more flexible, softer one.
For example, yew hedges require just shears or electric trimmers, since it only requires a small-toothed cutter, while beech hedges require a more robust, hand-held petrol hedge-cutter.
Kawasaki and Stihl were named as the best brands on the market by Ms Guinness, praising the Stihl HS 45 for thick cutting jobs and hand-held petrol hedgecutters or trimmers from both brands for smaller, quick jobs.
The Bosch AHS 48-16 was also given a special mention as a trusted choice for pruning small, fine, evergreen bushes.
