Husqvarna helps drivers cut it fine

Swedish gardening machinery manufacturer Husqvarna has provided new lawnmowers and other landscaping equipment for Castle Combe driving circuit in Hertfordshire, as part of a sponsorship deal.

In addition to supplying the circuit with a range of garden equipment including large ride-on mowers, brushcutters, hedge trimmers, chainsaws and power cutters, as well as related protective equipment and accessories, Husqvarna will use the site's facilities as a base for its sales and demonstration meetings.

Husqvarna's marketing manager Louise Calverley told thisishertfordshire.com: "As the global market leader for outdoor power products it makes good sense for us to be involved with Castle Combe circuit, which is one of the UK's top motorsport venues and attracts many thousands of enthusiasts every year.

"The circuit also plays host to many corporate and group activities every year and will provide a prestigious showcase for our products which will be seen by a large and varied audience."

Circuit chairman Howard Strawford was clearly pleased with the calibre of Husqvarna's machinery, stating: "The equipment that Husqvarna has supplied is ideal to maintain an estate of our size.

"Our maintenance staff who have already tried the products are very impressed with the quality and versatility of the equipment."
