Built to deal with the demands of heavy-duty professional use, the Super Major Pro makes the most of Merry Tiller’s 60-years of accumulated engineering expertise.
It’s powered by a very high-performance 6.5hp Briggs & Stratton Industrial/Commercial engine which employs the American manufacturer’s compact overhead-valve technology for lower running-costs; reduced exhaust emissions; and an extended service-life. The high-flow cylinder-head design delivers a 20% increase in power-output (when compared to conventionally designed cylinder-heads).
The Merry Tiller Super Major Pro Cultivator combines a commercial-grade roller chain transmission with a primary-stage V-belt drive and sharp ‘Slasher’ tines, so it won’t be defeated by even the most adverse soil-conditions. The tines dig down to 25cm and have a generous 66cm working-width, which can be narrowed to 45cm when operating in confined areas. The tilling-depth is also adjustable.
