Ideal for estate and off-road use, the MD Forest King comes with an extremely rigid steel frame for added stability and has two large-sized pneumatic transport wheels. It's fitted with a coupler (for 2" ball hitches) enabling you to tow the log splitter between locations and a retractable support leg for transport mode.
This high specification log splitter is equipped with a powerful and extremely reliable 6.5 hp Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engine for problem free operation and easy starting.
It has a huge 22 ton splitting force and is suitable for processing large numbers of logs, including any oversized pieces up to 24" (60cm) in length and 100 lbs in weight.
The log splitter has a heavy-duty 6" wide steel-flange-beam that cradles the log when in the horizontal position without operator assistance. The machine may also be used in the vertical position and there is a useful tipping device to enable you to easily change from one to the other.
The heavy-duty splitting wedge has wedge wings and a taper that makes splitting easier and there is a wedge cover that provides protection for when the unit not in use. A control valve handle gives you instant control over the splitting action.
