The Honda HRX476SXE is fitted with a 5.5hp Honda GCV160 engine. Offering a cylinder displacement of 160cc, these much-utilised overhead-cam power-units feature Honda’s revolutionary internally-housed timing-belt, which is oil-bathed for drastically reduced wear and noise. Even torque-distribution at all engine-speeds ensures sudden increases in load won’t be a problem; while automatic decompression works to greatly lessen the pulling-force that’s required for ignition.

This practical and convenient machine employs Honda’s unique Roto-Stop® blade-brake technology. This eliminates the need to stop and then restart the engine every time you need to empty the collector or have to cross a hard surface. It features a strong and rust-resistant polymer cutter-deck, which has been aerodynamically-optimised for increased collection-capacity; and it gives you the choice of six centrally-controlled heights-of-cut, so it’s flexible enough to deal with a variety of grass-lengths.

This model’s 47cm cut and 73-litre grass-collector combine to make it perfect for medium- to large-scale domestic use. An optional mulch-kit is available.
