Hints & Tips
There has been an ongoing bone of some contention between me and the boys recently (and when I say boys I am being slightly insouciant as I am referring to Dick and Drew, whose combined age probably looks like a phone number). However, the contention is down to the following. I have been trying to get them to make some link between scaring and scarifying, pointing out that as a ‘gardening and calendar event’ kind of pun it is up there with the best and they should be using it for halloween. They don’t seem to agree.
Dick, in fact, insists on writing these earnest – if incredibly useful and accurate – blogs about sweepers and mowers and such, full of detail and homespun gardening wisdom and truisms (damn him) and Drew vacillates between his own laconic style of blogging about garden equipment (complete with a shed-full of puns might I add) and wildly fanciful stories involving beer, his neighbours or his long-suffering wife.
They both seem to think that scarifying, especially with the ever popular Einhell GC-SC 2240P petrol scarifier is far too sombre a subject to be making puns and jokes out of. They take it all very seriously.
Well. So be it. I shall be creating a full-on Halloween blog for next Tuesday but you, and they, will have to wait and see what it is. I shall not, in deference to my esteemed colleagues and their ganged up testosterone, make any puns about scarifying or Einhell, despite the obvious jokes that are standing there desperate to be used like casual workers in the dustbowls of 1930s America. No scarifying puns. OK?
Instead, I shall take a fallen leaf out of their own books and mention that a friend of mine recently bit his own gardening bullet and bought himself one of these machines.
Big decision. Big result. He loves it, I mean really loves it. I mean “Darling, darling let me take you away from all this” strength love.
And he’s not alone. The Einhell GC-SC 2240P scarifier is probably towards the top of the list of MowDirect’s most popular machines, and that, believe me, is a long list.
But don’t let me bamboozle, bedazzle or bewilder you, don’t be a chump, don’t take my word for it. Let me fill in some precious blog space by showing you exactly what fans of this fab and unassuming machine have to say about it.
“My partner describes this scarifier as the best he has ever owned – does a superb job”
“Excellent performance – loads of moss and thatch ripped up”
“Excellent scarifier..perfect for the job”
“Can not believe how good this machine is for what I paid for it. Very pleased.”
“Fantastic price for what you get”
“Excellent value for a great German engineered product.”
“Einhell of a scarifier” I SAID NO PUNS PEOPLE!
“Does as it says on the tin, amazing value and quality.”
“A Big thank you from a very happy and satisfied customer.”
`See what I mean? that’s just the tip of the ice berg, the hits go on. let’s not forget, this is a german engineered, metal deck, single-lever height adjustment, classy petrol scarifier, solid as Dave Grohl’s drumming, tough as listening to the Kardashians’vocal fry, that costs less than £300 (£279.95 to be precise) and saves you £220. It’s madness I tell you, sheer, unadulterated madness.
if you want to know more about this machine, or any other scarifiers, mowers, chainsaws, blowers, sweepers and the like, just call our shiny, happy team on 0345 4588 905 (9am-5pm Mon-Fri & 10am-4pm Sat) and they will be delighted to give you impartial, expert advice. See..
“Outstanding Service…MowDirect are a fantastic company! A real pleasure to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable of their entire range and I had my mower the following day!” LEWIS
See? And if you see how much thatch and debris this machine takes out, leaving your lawn room to breathe and become greener, healthier and more lush, you’d think it was scary too. Oops, like Britney, I did it again. See ya. Holly.
