A ride-on mower used to be a rare sight but new and improved models are becoming increasingly popular and one machine which can deal with wet and dry grass is the MD 3-in-1 Ride-On Mower.
This great little machine has three options of dealing with the clippings – you can either return them straight to the lawn, collect them in the 160 litre grass box or mulch them and return them to the lawn, an increasingly popular method.
There are six cutting heights from 20 to 90 mm so it can deal with longer areas of grass even when it’s wet and the turning radius is just 30 cm so it is easy to drive around obstructions on the lawn and through narrow gates and along windy paths.
The engine is a 12.5 hp reliable Briggs & Stratton and fuel tank can take 4.2 litres.
