I have been asked to maintain a garden but there is no access to electricity . I suggested petrol equipment. As we are on a limited budget would it be ok to use a brushcutter as a cheaper alternative to a mower ( not a big lawn, maybe 10 yds by 30yds)? We would also need a hedge trimmer. What do you think? How quickly do you deliver? Thanks,Tim

You could use a brushcutter or strimmer for this purpose although the finish would be less attractive than using a mower. It depends on your budget – if you have £150 to spend on a petrol mower you might want to consider these low priced petrol lawnmowers.
Our delivery on these and other similar items is next working day. If you have any more questions please feel free to call our Sales Team on 0845 4588 905 for free advice.

Have a 1.5 acre grassed garden which has become very over grown. I also have bushes & hedges surrounding the entire site. Should I go for a multipurpose strimmer (grass, hedge, bushes etc) or go for individual machines. I retire soon, so hopefully time is not the issue. Once I have the place under control, a lawn mower would then be an option. My initial budget would be approximately €400.
    Thank you.
